Prayer for our Parish 2025 - let's pray for our whole parish by Pentecost
At the Ministry Leaders’ Family Camp in March, Bishop Ana challenged the diocese to pray for every street in every parish by Pentecost (ie. Sunday 8 June). The idea is that we go out of our way to walk our streets, and as we do so, to pray for them and the people in them. Are you keen to get on board? If so...
The goals are threefold: 1) to seek God’s blessing on people and places; 2) to form us as pray-ers; 3) to shape and provoke our imaginations as our eyes are opened up to the highways and byways of our local neighbourhoods. You can also click here for some ideas about how to go about praying.
Prayer for Missions
On the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7pm, some of us gather to share news and pray for Mission Partners who are or have been part of our parish. We welcome everyone to join us in the Emmaus Centre small room.
Prayer for Children's Ministry
On the first Monday of each month at 7.30pm. Start with a drink and how people are going and then into prayer. This prayer group is open to all children's ministry workers in our community and beyond and anyone with a heart to pray for our schools, our children, and their families.
Parish Prayer
Meets most months - see the Update for the date. All people who have a heart to pray for our church, community, country and current events are welcome. Starts at 7pm in the church sanctuary and finishes by about 7.45pm.
Personal Prayer
You are invited to have personal prayer requests met during the 10am church service. (9am church service during the Christmas and January School Holidays.)
