Making Disciples
Central to the vision of our Diocese is Jesus' command to "make disciples". At Tawa Anglican Church, we understand discipleship to be a lifelong engagement with God which includes receiving the good news about Jesus, deciding to follow Christ, and deepening in Christian maturity and faithfulness as life goes on. The diagram below, titled "Kingdom Dimensions", was devised by Vestry to clarify important aspects of making and being disciples of Jesus.
